For our Client - International company with expanded IT Department, we are looking for Cybersecurity Country Manager.
Your new role
The Cybersecurity function is responsible for enabling businesses and functions to manage their Information and Cybersecurity risks as well as ensuring risk and controls are assessed and implemented appropriately, objectively and independently through professional and specialized subject matter experts.
The Country Manager is responsible for supporting the Region/ Country Lead in defining and delivering the Group Information Security and Cybersecurity strategy across the Region, and helping meet the in-country Cybersecurity objectives aligned to the Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) organization and focus. The RISO’s organization is part of the 1st line of defense (1LOD). The key responsibilities include: collaborating with Cybersecurity team members within the region/country to collate and report on the management of information security and Cybersecurity controls; support with the delivery of information security and cyber remediation activities; support with the delivery of Cybersecurity transformation programs; gather information to report on the compliance of local legal entity regulations; and produce technical information related to the cyber risk posture into consumable reports for various governance forums.
The role requires the ability to translate technical Cybersecurity concepts into consumable language for the business stakeholders. The role holder supports the Region/Country Leader to support the RISO to drive continuous assessment and improvement of Cybersecurity and information security risk in-country in line with the company’s risk appetites and a constantly evolving cyber-threat landscape.
The role holder is expected to support the execution of the Global Cybersecurity strategy through various programmes by collaborating with the central Cybersecurity functions, Cybersecurity teams within the region, various stakeholders across the business.
Role Context
The role is responsible for helping input into the Group’s Information Security and Cybersecurity Strategy and improving the same while supporting the day to day operating/executing of it within their respective Region/Country. The role will support the Region/Country Leader and the Group Cybersecurity team to provide effective services to the located Region/ Country and will support the business and its technology function in their run the bank and change the bank programmes, particularly in relation to information security and Cybersecurity
What you'll need to succeed
• Minimum Bachelor Degree and/or experience in IT security governance and operational processes, preferably in the Financial Services industry or global corporate service provider
• Background – desirable but NOT essential experience in one or more of risk management, Audit, ISR
• Qualifications –one or more industry-recognised Cybersecurity-related certifications required (as per Regional Regulatory Requirements) including ISO270001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC
• Availability to travel (if required) for this role, i.e. travel within country as well as occasional International travel
• Positive and professional attitude, team player, flexible and adaptable, open to change(s)
• Confident and takes responsibility and ownership for work and personal development
• Good spoken and written communication and ability to adapt style based on audience (Fluent in spoken / written English)
• Ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
• Previous experience of delivering an excellent customer service
