Country Accountant with Italian
The Country Accountant Italy is responsible to direct and control all financial accounting processes for the Italian Company's entities in order to ensure compliance with relevant policies & procedures, US GAAP, statutory and fiscal requirements.

Description
- To direct and control the financial accounting activities of Italian entities in order to ensure financial statements are reported on time and in compliance with US GAAP, legal, statutory and fiscal requirements.
- To ensure an adequate system of internal controls is implemented / maintained for key accounting processes, in compliance with requirements under Sarbanes Oxley
- Maintain external audit relationship and secure satisfactory internal and external audit opinions for the Italian legal entities.
- Month-end activities like revaluation & analyzing the exchange differences
- Preparation and execution of the monthly reporting activities
- Act as focal point for the local management in Italy
- Act as focal point for the local authorities in Italy
- File proposals for improvement & efficiencies of systems and procedures
Profile
- Italian qualified accountant with at least 3 years of work experience
- Very good knowledge of Italian language (C1 level minimum)
- Good communicative skills, verbally and writing
- Good accounting skills and numerical understanding
- High level of knowledge of the English language
