Job Purpose Statement:
Performs the accurate and timely administration of MIC/PIC & of all benefits related programs for assigned countries, in accordance with scheme rules and defined procedures. Takes the lead in co-ordinating new or more complex activities. Maintains accurate & complete information in all files & computerised records & co-ordinates the actions needed to ensure the integrity of all data held . Provides general administrative assistance for compensation & benefits projects.

KeyAccountabilities:

Supports management & the H.R. function by providing timely & accurate job related information such as job titles, job codes, job grades. Provides general advice on issues relating to job information and/or how to access C&B data on the web (including JDs). Requests job codes for approved job changes from Intl C&B & ensures these are communicated & recorded in accordance with defined procedures.

Performs defined research & analysis of job-related information for EMEA & supports initiatives to improve the quality & accessibility of all data held.


Maintains the integrity of People Soft & the HR web site by making timely & accurate input of all approved information including job descriptions, job codes, PR matrices, pay scales etc for the assigned countries. Performs audits to ensure the accuracy of information held & initiates & co-ordinates any corrective actions needed.


Supports the Comp. & Ben. Specialists / Manager with the development of pay & benefit recommendations and / or ad hoc projects by collating defined information from FedEx departments & systems & presenting in the required format. Assists with local market surveys by researching & providing defined data or by extracting data from studies.

Administers all local benefit programs (i.e. pension scheme, medical insurance etc) in accordance with locally defined procedures. Includes gathering of information, communication of program detail & procedures, checking and updating of all relevant information and performance of defined procedural checks on invoices etc. Acts as the contact person for local benefit providers and employees & provides general information & problem resolution. Includes solving complex situations with appropriate referral & guidance.

Administers the MBO / MIC and PBO / PIC program for assigned countries ensuring compliance with scheme rules & relevant P&P. Supports management by resolving all types of processing related problems (i.e. late payments, pending approvals, international transfers etc). Calculates the maximum cash amounts for MIC / PIC payment in accordance with defined procedures & updates the relevant automated MIC / PIC application. Performs defined reviews & analysis of overall results & provides relevant reports & information as required.

Assists the Expat Co-ordination Specialist with the drafting and follow up of contracts, follow up on work permits, residence permits and the processing of expense reports and provides defined compensation data for the estimated tax calculation. Maintains effective record keeping of all invoices.

Maintains accurate & complete information files relating to all aspects of work. Recommends & implements agreed actions for improving all types of administrative processes, procedures & information flows.

Provides the Comp & Ben Specialists / Manager with general administrative support (i.e. travel arrangements, preparation of presentations, organisation of meetings) and ensures timely ordering of required office supplies.
Performs all related support duties as required by management.
