About the role
As a Cloud Security Engineer within Vodeno you will be part of agile team. You will work within projects of different customers. All projects are pure cloud based.
Your responsibilities
● Research of GCP platform security aspects
● Designing, implementing and configuring different platform security components and features
● Applying your Know-How about GCP, application security and network security
● Creating and maintaining Security SDLC inside CI/CD process
● Conception of automated security testing (DAST/SAST)
● Evaluation of existing software architectures
● Kubernetes security
● API security
Our requirements
● 3+ years of experience as Security Engineer/ Specialist, Cloud Security Engineer or DevOps Security Engineer
● Knowledge of: Strong Authentication, Endpoint Security, Internet Policy Enforcement, Firewalls, Web Content Filtering, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Identity and Access Management (IAM)
● In-depth familiarity with security policies based on industry standards and best practices
● Expert knowledge of information security systems and procedures, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, expertise in computer networks
● Ability to seek and understand security needs and research possible solutions
● Passion for high quality results and IT Security
● Experience in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash or similar
● Willingness to take over responsibilities and drive things forward
Nice to have
● Knowledge of CI/CD process and automation
● Knowledge and experience in cloud security and best practices in GCP - preferred or AWS/Azure environment
● Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform
● Understanding of the underlying LINUX/UNIX/MacOS & Windows OS internal security architecture
