Clearance Administrator with German

A unique opportunity has arisen for a German speaker to join a successful, multinational organisation. As an enthusiastic Clearance Administrator, you will have a keen interest in working with transport documentation and using your language and analytical skills in everyday work.

Job description:

For our international delivery process, you will work closely with Customs officials to ensure that proper checks and processes are completed. Using our in-house computer systems, you will prepare formal documentation for Customs clearance. Naturally we will invest in the training required to develop your specialist skills.

Key Accountabilities:

Your daily duties will include reviewing shipments data, to identify Clients and regulatory requirements, ensures compliance of supplied documents with trade laws and regulations. You will be seeking guidance for more complex/high impact transactions; escalating potential breach of regulations including all relevant support information. You will also provide advice to the Clients on alternative clearance services and participates in process improvement initiatives.

Please note that the job might require non-standard working schedule: Tuesday - Saturday! - depending on the team and covered market.


Ideal Candidates should speak fluent German and have at least upper-intermediate English skills. Previous administrative/customer service experience along with excellent communication skills are desired.
