Chief Controlling Officer
For our Client of an international organization in the financial services sector, I am looking for a business mature person for the position of Chief Controlling Officer. The person on this position will be responsible for creating a controlling department in the organization. This person will report directly to the CEO.

Description
- To act as a proactive business partner in supporting the company's MD (direct reporting line) in managing the business, ambitious team player of the local organization along with other support functions
- Design and implementation of a meaningful financial and analytical environment in cooperation with various internal local departments and German based HQ - internal and external management reporting
- Restructuring of the existing controlling systems incl. reconciliation between management and financial accounts
- Improving forecasting and budgeting methodology and its subsequent reliability incl. financial due diligence regarding investment decision
- Coordination of financial planning and intra-year projections incl. detailed variance analyses and the derivation of conclusions and recommendations for action
Profile
- Minimum 15 years proven track record in a similar area preferably in a multinational environment, incl. practical and relevant experience in the field of financial controlling, solid understanding of controlling concepts and the capability to leverage expertise in order to impact the business due to both initiating and managing changes
- College/University degree in the field of Economics/Finance/Business Administration
- Solid knowledge polish GAAP and IFRS
- Strong technical knowledge, analytical and business development skills
- Experience in the implementation and management of data warehouse / BI solutions is a must
- Solid big4 background is a plus
- CPA / CIMA / CFA or similar is a plus
