Chief Accountant
The Chief Accountant coordinates team, cooperates with legal entities, and ensures compliance with accounting regulation in Poland, IFRS, tax compliance, documents flow and archive.

Description
- Coordinating proper financial reporting (Polish gaps)
- Ensure period end processes are executed in a timely and accurate manner
- Review outputs
- Conducts and coordinates balance sheet reviews
- Supports Regional/ Entity controllers with action plans for open balance sheet items
- Provides input to judgement journals required during the period end process
- Provides oversight on billing and customer invoicing activities
- Acts as a point of interface between shared services and the relevant business area
- Responsible for ensuring that processes comply with the Group Control Framework and Accounting Standards (IFRS)
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives
- Responsibility for the accounting obligations specified in the Accounting Act (the person entrusted with keeping the books of accounts)
Profile
- Qualified accountant
- At least 3 years on Chief Accountant role
- Experience in team management
- Eager to automatise and improve financial processes
- In depth knowledge of Polish statutory (Polish gaps) and tax reporting
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Familiar with ERP, SAP
- Excellent command of English
