Overview
The role is part of the Europe Chief Data Office (CDO). This position will work with the Regional Chief Data Officer / Country Data Representative in the countries to support the Europe data strategy implementation. This will require working with regional/country business units, Operations, Transformation, IT and Risk teams, as well as operating at a senior level to support outcomes.
The role holder will focus on supporting the execution of business improvements in data management and data quality to implement global information management reporting, compliance, and business strategy initiatives. This may include coordination of the sign-off of any design and build of the future capability, as well as acting as the Project Management Office for the country. This position will also partner with the Group Data Services and support to relevant Working Groups and Committees.
The role would not have any direct reports and typically works under supervision of Regional Chief Data Officer / Country Data Representatives.

Key Accountabilities:
• Supporting multiple stakeholders within the Europe CDO
• Supporting governance forums setup, actions, risks / issues logging and proactive monitoring
• Implementing best practice techniques and tools to support CDO design and strategy implementation
• Manage the collection, collation and processing of various information from stakeholders
• Managing and updating documentation, process documents and information sources

Requirements:
• Experience in coordination/support between Business and Technical functions to achieve agreed outcomes
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management related role
• Understanding of the key principles of Project Management Office (PMO)
• Experience in application of project management best practice techniques and tools
• Good technical expertise in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to organize and structure - projects, processes, governance meetings and communications
• Ability to work in a virtual team environment across geographic boundaries and cultures
• Very good communication skills: both written and verbal
• Very good presentation skills
• Self-starting, independent, and willing to take on a wide variety of work
• Attention to detail
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment would be beneficial
• Knowledge of data management practices would be an advantage
