Description
We are member of French ALTEN Group present in 25 countries around the world and employing over 34,000 engineers and IT specialists. Since 1988 we deliver advanced IT systems for well-known brands, develop medicine and the renewable energy industry. ALTEN innovates aero and cosmonautics, trains, electric and autonomous vehicles, and even space rockets. We are currently looking for C++ Algorithm Developer who will join our team.
Main tasks
- Develop an algorithm for Autonomous Driving systems e.g. sensing and perception, calibration of sensing setup, motion controller, trajectory planning, ODD implementation, driver state, degradation modes, various algorithms optimization and adjustment
- Contribute to ongoing discussions about further development of an algorithm with a customer and other stakeholders
- Support integration of implemented algorithm with middleware layer
- Cover written code with unit tests, ensure expected code coverage
- Monitor and analyze algorithm performance (in simulation environment, test drive conditions etc.)
- Customer requirements analysis and alignment with internal and external development departments
- Collaborate with customers and internal validation groups
- Issue analysis, tracking in JIRA, provide solutions for existing defects
- Work in Agile/Scrum environment
- Development in accordance with ASPICE & ISO26262
- Ability to travel to support customer meetings and occasional test drives
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or comparable
- Relevant working experience (10 years plus)
- Efficient problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Solid commercial experience with development of algorithms, advanced C++
- Python or Matlab, unit testing, Linux, Git (or other version control)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably Scrum)
- Good level of English, quality mindset, strong mathematical background
