Business Unit Controller / Financial Controller
The proper candidate will report to the Controlling Manager and will have exposure within the Group.
Main duties will focus on management reporting, business analysis (business investment, profitability), business unit forecasts, monthly closing (according to IFRS and Group needs). Also, the candidate will focus on cost control and business recommendations.
The position will be very interesting for experienced candidates (4-6years of experience) - know of within the logistic industry will be strong asset, including minimum 2 years on business analysis, with very good IFRS knowledge, focused on result and outcome.

For our Client, an internationally well known developing logistic company, currently we are looking for candidates for the position of Business Unit Controller / Financial Controller based in Warsaw.
Description
- Validation of commercial initiatives, preparation of Business Investment Application for new businesses and extension of the existing projects;
- Business Unit Rolling forecast & Budget preparation and control;
- Profitability Analysis (GP , NP1 & NP2) per customer, branch, Business Field and Business Unit
- Establishment of a meaningful KPI system (including category benchmarks) per Business Field,
- Cost Control (in particular but no exclusively Manpower and Facility/Real Estate expenses),
- Supervision of month-end closing procedures, preparation of corporate reporting packages.

Profile
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent industry;
- Min. 4 - 6 years of professional controlling experience the logistics industry will be strong asset;
- Min. 2 year of business analysis;
- Fluent command of English language, knowledge of German is an asset;
- Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards;
- Profound Excel, Access, Tableu knowledge will be an asset;
- Team player;
- Good and eloquent communicator (internal & external stakeholders);
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to positively question the status-quo and aim for process improvements;
- Able to plan and prioritize own workload, workload of the team and adhere to timelines;
