Our client has positioned itself over the last years as a viable and high value supplier to the chemical industry with applications in the process control, batch management, data analytics, and cyber security.
We are seeking a qualified consultant with Chemical Engineering as background to extend our Global and European reach through export discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships in this market.
As the Chemical Market Industry Consultant you will be the trusted advisor to our customers. With your chemical engineering expertise you will be working on continuously improving the operational processes of our customers. You work closely with sales members in our European offices, customers and executive/senior management members to address wide spectrum business or operational challenges. Supported by your know how we will develop integrated value add solutions and clearly articulate the associated values to customers.
Biggest challenge
The full spectrum of our client’s added value generation is generally not discovered by our existing and future customers as well as our partners in the European Chemical Market, which requires you to engage in value based process improvements dialogues at various stakeholder levels, where your subject matter expertise in the Chemical Market will support the operating companies in Europe in achieving the targeted growth.

We are looking for a person with broad experience and good understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, with thorough understanding of speciality chemicals market, applications and supply chains, where over time you also build commercial experience.
In addition, you feel comfortable in communicating and discussing on a C-suite level with our clients and managing business complexities with both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, we expect you to bring the earlier mentioned knowledge about the target industry to us, that you know the challenges our customers are facing, and that you can educate us on the customaries and guidelines that are in place in the Chemical industry, to really offer new insights for our Customers and related supply chains in the long term.

What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor level with more than 10 years of sales and relevant Industry experience (Chemical Engineering or similar Bachelor/Masters)
- European scope with sales and operation teams spread over several countries in Europe and other regions
- Fluent in English
- Strong Management and Communication skills, Resilience and Persuasive
- Capable of working with different cultures.
