For our Client, well-known international company located in Kraków we are looking for a person interested in a role of Big Data Engineer.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for taking part in the deliver actionable business information and implementing data transformations to expose data via modern BI tools in line with expected project targets and timelines. You will be also working closely with various stakeholders located in different places in the world and with the Product Owner - accepting completed tasks and prioritizing planned work. Moreover, you will be helping with continuous improvement (making sure retrospective action points are implemented).
What you'll need to succeed
An ideal candidate should have role relevant qualifications, i.e.relevant Degree, relevant experience (Big Data Engineer/Analyst/Modeler), understanding data modeling - keeping data in structured format, conceptual, logical and physical data modelling and understanding ofBig Data and Cloud technologies.
Moreover you should have an experience with relevant development languages and frameworks like SQL, Java, Python, Scala, Spark as well as familiarity with various operating systems: Linux/Unix, Windows. Additionally you should be able to perform or support data quantitative and qualitative analysis as well as data analysis of key problem areas to assist in root cause analysis and data reconciliations to identify data anomalies.
