BI Developer (Microsoft)

Currently, for our Client, we are looking for a Candidate who will join the Warsaw team as a BI Developer (Microsoft).
Main responsibilities:

Update of SQL Server to “MS SQL 2017“ and Integration of new Data Sources
- Integration of new Data Sources in Topics of “Social Media Data”, “Smart Building Data”, “Google Analytics Data” and “CRM Analytics Data”
- Optimizations based on “MS SQL 2017” on Prem
- Implementation of an incremental load of SAP Data / Conversion of DWH Connection to SAP-Structures from ODBC to BAPIS (SAP Business APIs) based on Theobald
- Building new SSAS Models for Self Service BI Tools (e.g. “MS Power BI”) and based on specific Use Cases and User Groups
- Build first Instances of DWH based on PaaS (eg. “MS Azure”, “Snowflake”, “Google Big Query” – to be defined)

Facilitate organizational change from consuming SSRS Reports to Self Service Reporting
- Integration of new Data Sources in “MS SQL 2017”
- Establishing closed loops of data quality management to facilitate data quality
- Analyze user requirements to build SSAS Models for Self Service BI Tool
- Establishing an “Enterprise Data Warehouse” by creating a Single Point of Truth that provides enterprise-wide “Trusted Facts”
Collaborate with Development and Data Analyst Team in Hamburg via Ticketing Tool “MS TFS” and Web Conference Tool in Agile Methods “SCRUM”
We are looking forward to meeting Candidates who have:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience
- University degree
- Methodical expertise, ability to communicate, solution-oriented, collaborative
- Experience in:
- Microsoft (MS) SQL Server, MS SSAS, MS SSRS
- Dev-Tools like Visual Studio, C#, .NET
- Optional: Tagetik, XlCubed, PowerPivot
- Project management skills e.g. PRINCE2 (optional)
- Advanced English skills - needed for everyday communication
