For our Client, well known international financial institution we are looking for a person interested in the role of Batch Operator.
Your new role
Batch Operations Team in Kraków is a part of Digital Business Automation. The team monitors IWS batches, ensures its proper completion. Soon the team will also work with Control-M batches (possible CA7 in the future).
Your responsibilities:
- Working within a 24*7 Team to assist with the day-to-day Operations of batches hosted from zSeries/iSeries/Distributed systems
- Monitor all batch flow processing and insure timely completion of endpoints/milestones
- Identify delays or bottlenecks and resolve or escalate accordingly
- Perform level 1 and level 2 support and resolution
- Monitor real time performance of the computing environment
- Track, escalate and document all outages and incidents
- Participate in crisis calls as applicable
- Liaise with Stakeholders to meet customers’ expectations
- Proactively identify problem situations and resolve to give maximum customer satisfaction
- Expect to work on a rotational shift basis 24*7
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of working in any of the systems of zSeries/iSeries/Distributed platforms
- Experience of using any Workload Automation or Scheduling Products like Control-M/ TWSz/CA-7
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to SLAs and customer deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent organisational & prioritising skills.
- Good understanding of Service Management Processes of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management
- Very good verbal and written English skills
