For our Client, well known international financial institution we are looking for a person interested in the role of Batch Operator.
Your new role
We are currently creating a Batch Operations Team in Kraków. You will be working within a 24*7 Team to assist with the day-to-day Operations of batches hosted from zSeries/iSeries/Distributed systems. Your duty will be to monitor all batch flow processing and insure timely completion of endpoints/milestones, identify delays or bottlenecks and resolve or escalate accordingly. On this position you will be performing level 1 and level 2 support and resolution and monitor real time performance of the computing environment. Moreover, as a batch operator you will track, escalate and document all outages and incidents and you will be also expected to work on a rotational shift basis 24*7.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful Candidate you need to have very good verbal and written English skills and previous experience of IT Operations. On this position experience of working in any of the systems of zSeries/iSeries/Distributed platforms and experience of using any Workload Automation or Scheduling Products like Control-M/ TWSz/CA-7 is required. An ideal Candidate has ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to SLAs and customer deadlines and excellent organisational & prioritising skills. On this position client also requires good understanding of Service Management Processes of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
