Hays is looking to hire a talented Back End Developer onto our team in Kraków for Global search Company. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with some of the smartest people in the industry, on a fastpaced and motivated team. As a part of the Global Network Operations team, you will have the chance to affect the design and development of user interfaces for one of the world's largest corporate infrastructures.
Responsibilities
● Technical design, development & review
● Feature implementation
● Issue identification and resolution
● Writing tests & documentation, keeping code clean, modular and self-sustaining
Minimum Qualifications
● Strong experience with Java (edition of Java is not important as Google owns his own, specific one). Primary goal is to ease the creation of complex, databasedriven websites.
● Strong knowledge and experience on querying, designing relational databases (preferred MySQL/MariaDB experience but other are also welcomed)
● Very good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
● Experience in building complex web apps that have been successfully delivered to customers or users
● Ability to constructively work together with others to efficiently maintain and improve a large existing code base
● Knowledge of Web services protocols
● Exceptional attention to detail
● Feature effort estimation
● Good organizational and problem solving skills
● Strong oral and written communication skills in English
● 3+ years of proven relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
● Google App Engine
● Agile / Scrum development
● Team lead experience
● Feature prioritization
● Previous experience in working within geographically dispersed multicultural virtual team
