We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Associate Data Architect
Location: Kraków
We’re currently looking for associate data architect with a with a passion to data to lead the data design and development of the architecture for business solutions.
The Data Architecture team are accountable for the technical definition and implementation of our Group Data Architecture strategy which includes Metadata Strategy and Trusted Source Programme.
Key Accountabilities:
The Associate Data Architect contributes to the design and development of architectures in metadata modelling and trusted source programme that are aligned with Group standards, in particular:
Supporting GB/GFs in rolling out trusted source programme across to define repository of applications with right system designations
Using knowledge and expertise to provide recommendations with linking company common data taxonomy with data at rest
Definition of blueprints including architectural principles, standards and guidance's around metadata
Creating conceptual, logical and physical artefacts around metadata subject areas
Supporting the delivery of a holistic and integrated Group Data Architecture strategy
Assisting in the development of communities of practice bringing together expertise from across the organisation, including establishment of clear guidance for external engagement
Assisting with new technology proof of concept's to test functionality and suitability of a product / design
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience of working in a data-related role; data analysis, architecture, engineering, data management and / or modelling with hands-on technical experience of using associated technologies.
Good knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs / requirements and deliver organisational strategy
Proven strength in conceptual and logical thinking, ability to abstract information and look at the bigger picture
Experience in managing and resolving complex issues using proven analytical
Problem Solving, Planning and Delivering – Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques
Not required but desired:
TOGAF (or alternate Architecture framework) certification
Experience of using data modelling tools like Visual Paradigm, Infosphere Data Architect etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Financial Services industry including industry trends, competitive pressures, product and service offerings and organisational operating models
