Architect with .NET

Location: Wroclaw

A successful candidate for the Architect with .NET role will join the highly regarded and global Credit Risk Private Banking IT team, with Wroclaw branch currently employing 30+ people. Team skillset includes business analysis, software development in Java and .NET, quality assurance, test management, project and program management and beyond.

The International Ratings Model Application (IRMA) provides credit risk ratings for credit counterparties globally (both Private Banking and Investment Banking). IRMA consist of 15 models which calculate Probability of Default and Loss Given Default globally. These ratings can be used in both the assessment of risk in the credit application and approval process, as well as in the calculation of regulatory capital and Basel III regulatory reporting. Current IRMA implementation moves towards MyAnalytics solution. New Models will be delivered on the new platform. Therefore we see an opportunity for effective Senior SE with DevOps to join the team and deliver new solutions.

The Team is very diverse in both educational backgrounds and previous work experience. When hiring, we put stress on understanding candidate's past experience and how it can benefit the team as well as identifying potential of an individual that we would look to develop to the maximum.

The role gives you a chance to be part of reshaping the organization: new technologies are being developed in the Agile methodology. Also, as part of the project team you will have opportunity to witness and put in place solutions for effective Risk Management in the Bank. IRMA/MyRating Project team consist of approx. 10 highly motivated people who are Requirement Engineers, Software Engineers (.NET and Java), and Quality Assurance Engineers who are currently located in Wroclaw, Poland. We are looking for a person who will join the Software Engineering team.

  • Software development based on given requirements according to quality standards agreed within the team
  • Participating in the design activities
  • Integration and automation of environments
  • Writing unit tests for created software
  • Documenting the code and developed solutions
  • Bug fixing and maintenance of created software
  • Close cooperation with other Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Requirements Engineers, Project Manager and Test Engineers
  • Performing review of the requirement specifications prepared by Requirement Engineers
  • Supporting Test Engineers in all test activities
  • Deployment and maintenance of the developed applications and microservices in the Cloud infrastructure


  • 7+ years for Software Engineer position in .NET
  • Experience in Solution Architecture definition and delivery
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins pipelines)
  • Experience in Cloud-native application development
  • Experience in microservices implementation
  • Experience in the design and implementation of multi-tier application platforms
  • Experience working with Web Services
  • Good knowledge of MS SQL (SQL knowledge is essential)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience in development, roll-out and maintenance of complex applications
  • In-depth knowledge of Visual Studio 2017+
  • Practical experience working with Git.
  • Experience in unit testing (JustMock - nice to have)
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Kanban, etc.)

  • Docker, Kubernetis/OpenShift and Helm knowledge (is a big plus)
  • Windows IIS
  • SHA certificates configuration (client/server/cloud solutions like JetStack)
  • Experience working with Jira, Artifactory
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deal effectively with people face to face and over the phone
  • Experience working in international projects
  • Experience working in banking or finance industry (especially in the credits domain)
  • Knowledge of mocking frameworks (JustMock)
  • Experience working within a matrix-managed environment
  • Practical knowledge of UML and design tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
