AP Accountant with German
The European Accounts Payable Accountant will work in partnership with the rest of the European Payable team and European Shared Service Finance Team, liaising sites across Europe. The European Shared Service Finance Teamwork "virtually" across Europe, either from home or one of sites in the region, thus collaboration and ability to work remotely will be key to succeed in this role.

We are currently recruiting for our client who has decided to launch their SSC in Gliwice. (100% remote work)
Description
- Processing of third party and intercompany invoices from point of receipt, through to point of payment.
- Ensuring correct matching of invoices to purchase orders, researching and resolving discrepancies in quantity or value as appropriate
- Accurate input to general ledger via understanding of the chart of account structure
- Prompt and efficient resolution of supplier account queries - interact with suppliers as necessary to resolve invoicing and payment issues
- Processing of payment of suppliers in line with group internal control procedures
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Maintaining accurate master data within our ERP system in relation to supplier
- Monthly Purchase Ledger Account Reconciliation in line with agreed deadlines
- Monthly GRNI reconciliation in line with agreed deadlines
- Manage employee expenses activities
Profile
- About 2 years of experience working as an AP accountant.
- Good German skills (B2 level)
- Very good English skills (min. B2/C1).
- Educational background in accounting or economics nice to have.
- Good team work skills.
- Strong finance and accounting skills, local laws and legislation.
- Transition experience will be an asset.
- Customer service mindset.
