We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant with special expertise in Process Improvement Implementation. A successful candidate will play a key role in defining procedures, leveraging synergies, drive automation and consolidation as well as in training the teams and supporting the organization through all changes this requires.

Our client is an international company that decided to open its SSC in Prague in Czech Republic. They are a leader in their sector, and they are creating new teams of experts in the accounting area.

Description

  • Being a key expert for all Process Improvement needs, training and support of department, users and documentation
  • Establishing in depth understanding of the underlying process flows in order to find areas of improvement and to support on new projects, system changes and new integrations
  • Standardizing and optimizing given flows, systems, reports, support the automation of the end-to-end activities in the R2R processes
  • Providing analysis and supporting process deficiencies and areas of improvement needs
  • Ensuring system and process driven accurate and timely month-end reporting
  • Developing automated controls and supporting the process of establishing and implementing those
  • Supporting internal and external Audits including SOX Testing and internal controls
  • Ensuring documentations (Guidelines, Manuals) are complete and up-to-date
  • Supporting group wide finance projects

Profile

  • Higher education in business administration or equivalent finance specific degree, CPA/ACCA
  • Solid knowledge of R2R/GL process
  • Experience in a multinational corporation desirable
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge, US Gaap and SOX
  • Very good knowledge of SAP, BI and Hyperion/HFM
  • Fluent English, knowledge of any other European language will be an asset
  • Expertise in implementing new procedures and systems
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and to drive necessary action to completion
  • Effective time management, organization and prioritization skills
