For our Client, international services company, we are currently looking for experienced Associate Accounting Manager to take over responsibility of accounting and finance area of the Polish entity.
As Associate Accounting Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all work produced is in accordance with the company procedures, best practice compliance, regulatory requirements, reporting and representing company in National Bank of Poland, Ministry of Economy, Main Statistic Office and Special Economic Zone Authorities, preparation of VAT returns, Company Income Tax and Statutory Accounts, preparing and providing desired information to external agency, monitoring company’s liabilities, administering Social Welfare Fund, Petty Cash, bank accounts, maintaining legal documents of the company, coordinating vendor invoice processing and payments. Other duties will include administering local Bank accounts of the company and coordination like obtaining bank balance confirmations, depositing cheques received from customers, query resolution etc., handling petty cash balance for day to day requirements and maintaining record for expenses incurred thru petty cash and settlement of the same at periodical intervals, directing employee queries and grievances regarding their salaries, claims etc. to EHS, social benefit fund administration with local HR, coordinating for customer queries, submission of invoices and collection of cheque payments, taking various audits including statutory, national bank and tax audits, resolving audit queries, submission of documents and details to auditor, working with local consultants, lawyers etc. on various matters like preparation of statutory financials, corporate tax return and other issues coming time to time.
We expect form the candidates higher education in Accounting/Finance, minimum 5-6 years of experience on Chief Accountant/ Independent Accountant position, deep knowledge of VAT returns, Company Income Tax and Statutory Accounts as well as strong experience in reporting and representing company in National Bank of Poland, Ministry of Economy, Main Statistic Office and Special Economic Zone Authorities.
