Accounting Lead Poland and Hungary
Ideal candidate has experience in international companies, preferably with exposure to more than one market / country. We are looking for a person, who could make next step and develop within the function and who would like to work closely with local Accounting and will try to maximise effectiveness and efficiency of finance processes. The candidate does not have to have strong managerial experience, but needs to have proper background.

Description
- Manage month end close for the countries to deliver timely and accurate financial accounting information to the local business and to the group;
- Ensure integrity of accounting records, nominal ledger and monthly reporting;
- Try to maximise effectiveness and efficiency of finance processes, working closely with Finance and Business area.
- Ensure Poland and Hungary entities meet financial and tax requirements including statutory financial accounts, VAT and other indirect taxation;
- Work closely with Group Tax and Treasury and Group Reporting to ensure compliance with Group financial requirements;
- Implement improvement projects driven by the Group aimed at processes optimisation;
- Manage cross country (Poland, Hungary) team covering financial accounting, payroll and accounts payable;
Profile
- 1-3 year of experience on similar role, preferably with responsibility for accounting processes in more than one country
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or in progress;
- Strong written reporting and confident communication skills in English;
- Earlier regional / pan-country experience;
- "Systems" literate - understanding of finance systems to maximise effectiveness and efficiency of finance processes;
- Numeric / strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges;
- Ability to work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines;
- "Can do attitude" to drive change through finance team;
- Previous experience of managing a shared service finance function or regional HUB function will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of other foreign languages will be an advantage;
