What will you make with IBM?
The primary responsibility for this position will be to provide support, maintenance and automated solutions using scripting in both the Windows Server and VMware environment, but main focused on VMware.
Scope of work:
- Operation and maintenance of systems across multiple Windows and VM platforms with high availability solutions
- Rsolve problem incidents, execute change, security and project management processes
- Diagnose issues with clients' hardware and diagnose/resolve OS/server-related software component issues
- Provide answers to clients' questions about IT problems and help meet their business needs through innovative IT solutions
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in Support Windows 2003-2008 Server Environments
- At least 3 years experience in Support Windows Security Expertise
- Experience in Support VMWare ESX Server
- Experience in Analyze Customer Technical Requirements
- Demonstrated scripting knowledge (i.e. PowerShell, Perl, Batch, WMI, VBScript, etc)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows Operating System (2003 & 2008 and newer)
- Unattended windows servers install/modify or update current windows installation process
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills (i.e. parsing event log, sysinternals tools, analyzing memory dumps)
- Experience with VMware both Host and VM's
- Ability to write technical and operational management documentation
- Good knowledge of English
