Our client is a global bio-pharmaceutical company that produces biosimilars, locally.Role Description
In this role our client is looking for someone who can provide oversight for upstream and downstream process development activities. In addition, the candidate will drive the development and optimization of an in house upstream platform process. Vaccine development experience is paramount to the role. You will report directly to the CTO.Responsibilities
You lead the vaccine process development team: developing, optimizing and transferring the upstream and downstream. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 scientists and 5 technicians per project. You provide technical oversight on all process development related activities, set out strategies for product development.Requirements
- Master or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or relevant- 6+ years of experience in industry
- Vaccine process development experience is key to be a successful candidate
- Experience participating in and leading cross functional teams such as CMC teams
- GMP
- Team lead experience needed; project management knowledge is considered a nice to have
