THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Netherlands.
They are a fast moving company in a business where fresh needs to be really fresh. Due to the continues growth of this company they are looking for a new Transport planner to help them deliver over 2 million products to national and international clients.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be joining the transport division which consist out of 50 to 100 people. The transport division runs 24/7 to maintain the highest possible level of freshness. This requires a flexible mentality and the ability to switch quickly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will mainly consists out of making sure that the products are delivered on a timely basis and according to the specifications of the customer. This requires you to plan transport as efficiently as possible using various web based programs and putting your multi task skills to use. You will also be responsible for:
- Various administrative jobs including processing the bills of lading, day reports and digital tachograph data
- Improving the transport planning on a structural basis
- The occupation, filling and working hours of the drivers
- Maintenance of the truck fleet and much more.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Business Administration or similar. Or a MBO+ and 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of the driving time regulations
- The ability to work in shifts, weekends (according to planning) and between 04:30 and 20:00
- A strong personality with a positive attitude
- Fluent in English and Dutch
