Translations Editor with Russian
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Editing, crafting and honing English-to-Russian translations that span geographies, industries and markets
- Identifying market-moving figures and comments most relevant for Russian speaking audience and publishing real-time news alerts in Russian
- Coaching and mentoring a team of translators
- Curating media packages from Reuters’ rich file of video, pictures, graphics and text stories
What you'll need to succeed
- At least two years of experience as a professional news translator/editor
- Solid knowledge of worldwide macroeconomics, financial markets and corporate activities
- An ability to judge what news is relevant for Russian clients
- A willingness to learn and an ambition to build skills and take on greater challenges
- Fluent written and spoken Russian, a good command of English
- Resilience in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to work as part of a team
