Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Belgium.

For this growing company we are looking for a Trade Marketing Director for the food industry.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this exciting and developing role you are continuously looking for marketing insight’s and trends. In a world in which experiences and craftsmanship is getting more important it is important to evolve and interpreted opportunities and have a clear vision. You will be responsible for market positioning and marketing activities on a global scale.

Working on a strategic level is not new to you and you know how to get different stakeholders enthusiastic about your ideas. Working in an ever changing environment is what gets you going!

We are looking for a candidate that can bring expertise to the company, someone who is open to help build a strong strategy towards the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement a complete marketing approach for a specific channel based on the business development strategy
- Build exceptional customer experience towards distributors and consumers
- Develop and implement a uniform customer segmentation approach
- Give guidance and support towards subsidiaries countries to select and strengthen their specific product portfolio
- Monitor competition
- Create unique customer experience for all offline and online touch points between the company and its customers and partners and distributors
- Collaborate with other Business Units to develop strong and successful Sales & Marketing tools in line with communication targets of the company

REQUIREMENTS

- MSc in Economics, Business or related
- An outgoing person who can work with a changing environment
- Flexible and result driven
- To the point and able to oversee the bigger picture without losing the feeling with the operational out role
- Experience in FMCG = a must (B2C, brands or strong consumer focused marketing)
- Based in Brussels
- Open to travel globally on a regular base
- A great and competitive salary package
