Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.

This client is specialized in B2B Food products and has decades of experience in poultry, fish, dairy and vegetables. The exports are global and as such, the client reaches customers in over 80 countries worldwide. From the main office in the Netherlands, the young sales team sets the plans for the future.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

You're an experienced sales professional and you want to meet the challenge of building and expanding your own market. As a person, you are curious and you are driven by a genuine interest in other cultures and people. Energy and empathy are important to create lasting customer relations. Every day is a new opportunity to meet and help new clients and you rise to the task every time. As Trade Manager, you manage customer relations, find and create new business opportunities. You report to the board of directors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing customer relations and creating new business
• Developing new countries and markets
• Spotting market opportunities and seizing them
• Following up on offers and orders
• Cooperating with logistics and purchasing
• Traveling worldwide up to 5 weeks a year

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor level
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in B2B
• Experience in the food industry
• Fluent English, Dutch, knowledge of French, German and/or Spanish is a plus
• Analytical, quick on your feet, communicative personality with a passion for sales
