ROLE DESCRIPTION
As trade compliance expert you are the contact person for trade compliance matters in Turkey, Middle East and Africa.Your main activities are monitoring regulations and aligning business processes according to changing requirements. You will also manage pharmaceutical shipments by partnering with carriers, brokers and government agencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Point of contact for trade compliance matters (Region Turkey, Middle East, Africa)
- Help internal stakeholders with import and export compliance issues
- Monitor biopharmaceutical regulations and managing changing requirements
- Partner with carriers, brokers government agencies and internal logistics for outbound shipments
- Provide compliance training to functional teams
- Prepare and review shipping documentation and customs invoices for accuracy
- Provide support for regional export and import license application processes
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Customs & Trade
- 5-8 years of experience in trade compliance management and import/export control
- valuation, HS classification, country of origin determination
- Awareness of industry trends and developments in biopharmaceutical import/export compliance
- Excellent executive presentation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of GMP regulations and GDP requirements
- Strong computer skills (SAP GTS experience and MS Office)
- Fluent in English (Written and Verbal)
