For our Client, an international leading Provider of Aviation MRO services, we are currently searching for a experienced Manager, who will join its structure at the position of Tool Manager dedicated to a new global office based in Wroclaw.
Being a part of global MRO Team (maintenance, repair and overhaul) located in Wroclaw, the person on this position will be mainly responsible for development and implementation of concepts for tool management. It will be essential to be responsible for Tool calibration; Tool storage - concept, specify hardware necessary to store, track and identify tooling; Tool usage concept on shop floor, tooling access for mechanics and traceability. Moreover, the Tool Manager will be in charge of setting up a qualified supplier network for tool repair, load checks and calibration and getting all suppliers as qualified suppliers on board for tooling purchase. The responsibilities will also involve development and implementation of tolling marking system, management tooling warranties and technical claims. You will be learn and share best practices of tool management network and develop all tooling relevant processes, in cooperation with quality and production.
Our Client is seeking a person who has several years of experience with Tool Management (engine tools) or similar, as well as at least Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant major (e.g. Turbomachinery Engineering, Aerospace Engineering). Good technical understanding in e.g. drawings, fit checks, function check but also a certain level of project management/ conceptual skills. Our Client is searching for a person who has very good level of both spoken and written English. Experience in aviation industry, particularly in engine tolls is very important. To be successful in this role you should have leadership skills, intercultural competence and strong technical focus. Ideal Candidate should be decision-making and able to work under pressure.
