For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Test Engineer with Matlab/Simulink

Location: Wrocław

Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)

Length: 12 months +

Rate: up to 110 PLN/h net on B2B

Start date: ASAP

Remote work: Hybrid – 2/3 days in office / week

Tech stack: Embedded, Matlab/Simulink

What will you do:

• Support of the project team in all operational activities along the test process, e.g. specify, automate and execute test cases.
• Operative and conceptual design of the test process automation, including the commissioning on MiL, SiL, HiL test environments.
• Perform Algorithm verification using Matlab/Simulink.
• Planning, organization and control of test and verification activities within control unit software series projects according to specifications.
• Timely implementation of all planned test and verification activities according to the test strategy as well as preparation and report of the results to the project management in consultation.
• Cross-departmental collaboration on topics related to test management, especially with requirements

What we expect from you:

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering or similar.
• Experience in Matlab/Simulink and related toolchain w.r.t. testing, e.g. simulink test, embedded coder etc.
• Basic knowledge of test methodology and test process in embedded software development.
• Knowledgeable in SW test for embedded control units in an industrial environment, e.g. automotive.
• First professional experience in application software test management for embedded controllers as well as good knowledge in verification and validation from the development areas electrics / electronics system, especially applications software.
• Completed ISTQB certification desirable.
• Ideally professional experience in test design or implementation of test projects, e.g. B. as a test engineer or test manager as well as experience in the operation of X-in-the-Loop systems (e.g. NI, Mathworks).
• Knowledge of / experienced in agile development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM).
• Good written and spoken English skills, German language skills is a plus
