Test Engineer (Advanced Utility Machines)

Primary Function:
The function of the Test Engineer is to plan, conduct and document functional and performance tests of products.
Organizational information:
Based in local R&D Department
Direct Supervisor: R&D Manager
Essential Responsibilities:
• Development of integrated validation plans (IVP) and execution for entire product;
• Conduct tests on product in the lab and field collecting data as needed;
• Document the results of the test, including issue reporting into CTS tracking tools;
• Develop local area product validation capability and support European testing;
• Follow issues to resolution and validation of resolution, providing additional information and data as required to the design teams;
• Maintain and communicate current issue status on a particular project, alert managers to significant issues or roadblocks;
• Proactive support for quality and reliability investigations into current product issues to identify failure modes, root cause analysis, suggested fixes;
• Prototype build support for all locally related product validation activities.
Qualification/Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred);
• Construction, automotive or similar background preferred;
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic vehicle systems;
• Ability to demonstrate good Polish and English written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to demonstrate good computer skills with Word, Excel, MSOffice suite;
• Design and lab test experience.
Desired Characteristics:
• Knowledge of CAN communications;
• Experience in a lab environment with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation;
• Experience in electronic troubleshooting and diagnostics or a related field;
• Basic Agronomic knowledge.
