Technical Service Engineer

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- provides a high level of application support (UV, UV LED and Water Based Inks/machine interaction) at customers site,

- coordinates in conjunction with press operator, trials for customers and for projects,

- coordinates, plans and executes “in time and in full” all technical support work,

- in liaison with R&D, is responsible for the application part off stage-gate projects,

- has full application responsibility for small projects,

- provide technical studies to develop or improve products and processes,

- responsible for writing reports, project plans, status reports and training plans as requested,

- has good knowledge about SHEQ rules and other policies within the company,

- responsible for maintaining laboratory records concerning press trials, projects, etc.,

- co-responsible for calibration of lab equipment.

Candidates profile:

- engineer in Chemistry with preferably at least 2 years of experience in the printing industry (Technical Support of WB inks and/or UV and UV LED inks at customers),

- strong technical and print-mechanical skills (Narrow Web presses),

- knowledge of color-matching,

- good knowledge of printing processes (flexo, screen and offset) in Narrow Web,

- strong knowledge of UV and UV LED curable and WB inks,

knowledge of labels, flexible packaging and shrink sleeves applications,

- trouble shooting capabilities,

- excellent communication skills,

- demonstrated track record of delivering results,

- good presentation skills,

- ability to work with others (internally/externally) at all levels,

- team player with positive enthusiasm,

- willingness to learn in changing environment,

- high energy level and dedication,

- execution driven,

- high customer focus,

- strong English language skills,

- strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
