THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Chemicals and FMCG organization, based in Oost-Vlaanderen Belgium.
This client sells services, not goods, which requires a special added-value approach of selling. Initial experience in commerce is required to be considered for this role.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Sales Manager, you will be working independently, where new business is part of your responsibilities. However, in today's market, it is important to build lasting relationships and stay in touch with the known actors. For this, you develop an understanding of functional ingredients and know how to cross-sell and convey the possibilities to your clients. You do not lead a team - instead, you work independently and work in as broad of a market as you can handle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• International travel through Europe (30%)
• Customer-centred, solution-based selling
• Account management
• New business development
• Cross-selling of services
• Setting your own action plan and sticking to it
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor level study in Chemistry or similar
• 1+ years of sales experience
• Comfortable with client contact
• Interested in environmental issues
• Willing to travel
