Technical Product Manager/Product Owner
Location: Remote PolandArea: Sabre's Air Extras (also known as and/or commonly referred to as optional services, optional charges, or ancillary services) are all products offered to travelers as an addition to their air fare at additional cost (examples are premium seats and checked baggage fees). Ancillary Services is an ATSE (Air Travel Shopping Engine) functional application which provides customers with a list of ancillaries and their prices offered by a carrier for a given itinerary/market (origin/destination). Product consists of back end services related to Pricing Ancillaries, Seat Map, Sell Cancel, Seat Availability, Calculating Bag Fees, with some orchestration.
Cooperate with product managers and development teams to deliver features, support long-term product vision, and own continuous refinement of team backlog, offering the functional knowledge necessary for the delivery of the best product and solution
- Product subject-matter expert (SME) inside scrum teams
- Scrum ceremonies attendance
- Prepare: user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog prioritization, prioritization
- Product functional documentation
- Conduct demos (internal or external, as needed)
- Refine functional requirements, align on priorities with Product Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act under general direction, demand form the market, product strategy and roadmap
- Act as primary point of contact for scope elaboration
- Analyze, triage and troubleshoot maintenance issues (2nd and 3rd level of support for other Sabre teams and helpdesk)
- Provide frequent support to your own scrum team, translate customer requirements and product roadmap to manageable backlog
- Collaborate primarily with product manager and other stakeholders then also with other scrum teams when needed
- Interface with internal stakeholders to discuss over requirements, configuration modifications
SKILLS
MUST
- understanding enterprise problems and goals, analyzing needs and solutions, devising strategies, driving change, and facilitating stakeholder collaboration
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience (product management)
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Experience working with an agile development team and Rally, an understanding of Scrum
