Technical IT Business Analyst

The Technical IT Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders responsible for Information Security, as well as various partners within the IT organization. He/she must demonstrate the problem-solving attitude and be able to drive change, propose robust solutions and communicate them to all interested parties verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities:

• Determine required IT Security solutions and assist in implementing them.
• Gather requirement, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews.
• Translate requirements into technical documentation and ensure that requirements are understood by all members of the project team.
• Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements.
• Work closely with the business along with various partners within the IT organization.
• Find solutions to business problems as part of the overall strategic roadmap.
• Evaluate existing processes and optimize them in terms of efficiency and risk mitigation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in applying business analysis techniques with a proven record in an Business Analyst role (3-5 years).
• Solid end to end business and system analysis experience (including analysis planning)
• Network knowledge (preferably experience in that area)
• The ability to interpret a set of technical requirements (you know what they really want).
• Ability to manage client expectations and control/deliver the required scope of work despite possible changes to requirements and scope.
• An understanding of the software development lifecycle along with strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Basic engineering skills/experience :
• Ability to query a database for specific data (SQL or similar)
• Excel proficiency to be able to perform data analysis
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and the ability to interact with both IT and the business stakeholders.
• Experience with cooperation with stakeholders on different levels of the organization, including managers
• Experience in corporate culture environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working in the Cyber Security area (Network Security or Vulnerability management preferred).
