TECHNICAL APPLICATION MANAGER
Location: ŻarówAs our technical application manager, you make sure our IT applications in our datacentre and in the cloud run smoothly and interact flawlessly with each other and external platforms. In this role you will deliver a key contribution to our drive to boost our presence in the digital space.
You will be part of the central IT team based in the Netherlands and you will be located at the production site in Żarów (near Wroclaw in Poland). Thermaflex offers you a dynamic, creative, internationally oriented, open work environment that offers a pleasant, informal atmosphere. We will provide an extensive training in Waalwijk (headquarters in The Netherlands) in the first months, so you will need to be prepared to travel.

Thermaflex serves a wide range of industries and equipment installation companies, which are sourced from one of our production facilities located in the Netherlands, Poland, Thailand, Turkey and Russia.
Thermaflex has an ambitious growth strategy based on continuously innovating and improving the performance and sustainability of our solutions. To facilitate this we need to be able to get the most out of our systems, applications, processes and data. Internally to be able to steer on data we gather with the applications we use, but also to connect to the outside world to optimize the interaction with customers and other stakeholders.
We currently have a heterogenous IT landscape that is expanding and interfacing more with the outside world. Systems in use are for ERP Exact Globe & Synergy in the largest part of the group, 1C in Russia and Logo in Turkey. Reporting is based on MS-SQL supported by Sumatra Software and other tooling. These tools interact with the outside world via EDI, Webshop, Website, Product Information Management platform, etc.
The challenge
In this role you will report to the Group ICT manager and be responsible for:
- Technically supporting the current application landscape and interfaces
- Ensuring robust application availability and performance
- Managing technical life cycle of business applications (Exact Globe, Exact Synergy, 1C, Elvy, EDI platform, etc.)
- Interacting with hosting partners of outsourced SAAS applications (PIM, Webshop, Website, EDI intermediary, etc.)
- Supporting projects and processes from IT perspective
- Supporting the Polish subsidiary in the optimal use of the centralized IT environment, on technical and functional level.
- Integrating in the IT team consisting of the Group ICT manager, Application manager and Systems engineer and contribute to the optimal use of all available IT tooling by the end users
- Proactively communicating with the internal business stakeholders
- Being up-to-date on technology and industry trends
- Supporting the digital transformation of Thermaflex from a technical perspective
Your initial focus will be to help implement the new Product Information Management system (SAAS) and connect it to multiple relevant platforms (website, webshop, wholesale portals). Parallel to that we want to improve our EDI capabilities and run many more interesting projects.
Your qualifications
- Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education (IT related) - Minimum Experience Required:
- A few years relevant experience within a business environment
- Experience in technical data management and reporting (MS-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, MS-BI, etc.)
- Experience working with ERP systems, knowledge of Exact software is a pré - Required Skills:

- Structured, organized, and willing to take ownership
- Team player, multi-tasking and able to cope with stress.
- Proven project management skills: demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
- Excellent English written and oral communications skills
- Ability to communicate in German and/or Polish is a pré
