Your new company
For our Client, company which is establishing new software development structures in Wrocław we are searching for Team Manager.
Your new role
Your responsibility is to lead and evolve our newly formed fast-growing development studio. This department will be a fully integrated part of Company’s IT organisation adopting our agile ways of working in close collaboration with Product owners using our modern and yet well proven technology stack. Your main task will be to create a positive, open minded, creative work environment adopting the agile philosophy based on the progressive culture of Company IT. You will mentor and coach the department members guiding them towards proactive independent units striving for excellence.
You are a natural leader with a passion for people and you believe in the power of a diversified and dynamic team.
Key responsibilities
• Managing the department, administer according to personnel responsibility demands
• Coaching the team members, encourage and push them to strive for excellence
• Introduce and grow a creative work environment in line with Company core values
• Support the business utilizing the full and collective knowledge of Company IT
• Organize the department progressively in accordance with business needs.
You will report to your boss and be based in Wroclaw but the different business units your teams will often be located in other countries, so some travels are inevitable.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a multi-skilled, solution-oriented person with a positive can-do attitude. You have excellent people skills, you are observant and a highly skilled reader of people. You are a good listener and you love coaching and to mentor your fellow co-workers helping them reaching their full potential. You appreciate working in close collaboration with the business supporting and guiding them in the ways of agile software development methodologies. You have really good communicative skills, strong sense of ownership and responsibility appreciating the freedom to be in control of your own time and effort. You are a true team player that really believes in the power of working in an agile team. If you see something in need of attention you dive right into it on your own initiative, not waiting for someone to tell you.
You have previously managed an agile IT department working in an international business environment. You have an applicable university level education and when you speak and write in English, you do so unhindered.
