Team Lead / Scrum Master

Job Description

The accepted Candidate will be appointed to pursue his//her long term carrier at EPAM Poland (Krakow) and will join to a high profile project at one of our biggest client in Krakow where he/she will fulfill a Team Lead – Scrum Master role.

The successful candidate either worked as an architect, ETL expert on a data warehouse project or has excellent knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL development or has very solid experience as a Business Analyst.

It's important that the person is cross-discipline.

 

 

Responsibilities:

- Supervises, manages and leads Scrum process. Coordinate daily  activities,  resolve impediments and makes sure the Teams are fully functional. Organizes, rules and manages meetings (Sprint Planning/Review/Retrospective/Stand-ups)

- Essential roles of this duty also including (but not limited to):

- Plan and track tasks and activities

- Report progress/challenges to the Management

- Extensive cooperation with external or internal clients. Ability to consult with business partners, leads the development of functional and system design specifications for client engagements

- Identification of options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability

- Working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

- Manage the documentation of the design and work products

- Planning and working flexibly to a deadline

- Fulfill requirements / responsibilities according to the Quality Management System

- Follows standard development life-cycle processes

- Provide consultation and assistance in knowledge transfer

- Result orientation and ability to execute the assigned responsibilities and tasks with minimum supervision

- Observe the quality rules during the project and supply the QA Leader with upcoming ideas

 

 

Requirements

- Qualification in a related field

- 5+ years post qualification experience

- Strong project management experience in running Agile Projects

- Experience with business intelligence or data warehousing or reporting systems or Large transactional systems

- Ability to manage the potentially diverse needs of many customers, stakeholders and senior management and successfully manage these varying perspectives

- Understands the issues of management, and their plans to implement them through strategies, programs and projects

- Ability to participate in business planning and key decision making in customer areas

- Experience with enterprise database or warehouse (preferably Oracle)

- Deep knowledge and proven experience of Agile Development (preferably SCRUM)

- Fluency in English and good English writing skills to liaise with other teams, support staff, end users and business management people
