The Company

Our client is one of the premiere drug development companies in the European bio-pharmaceutical industry.

Role Description

As the manager of the drug development group you have 5 direct reports. You provide scientific guidance to the formulation op liquid and solid biologicals.

Responsibilities

You run multiple projects at the same time where you are in charge of timeline set-up, project budgets and resource allocation. You will develop and perform pharmaceutical analytical methods. Furthermore, your entrepreneurial mindset will be invoked for business development purposes. One of your targets will be to grow your group. You report directly to the CSO.

Requirements

- PhD in Pharmaceutics, chemistry or biochemistry
- 5+ years of experience in (bio-)pharmaceutical formulation development
- Demonstrated industrial team lead experience
- Analytical techniques like HPLC, DLS, DSC, spray drying or similar
- Fluent in English; Dutch would be an asset
