For our Client, international company located in Katowice, we are currently looking for System Engineer
to join Global IT Hub.
Your new role
This position of System Engineer will works in the area of Digital Workplace & Infrastructure services and in accordance with the relevant company's guidelines and governance.
Ensuring the availability, stability, security and scalability of Local & Global IT infrastructure.
Leading/ coordinating server upgrades and maintenance services with Local IT Managers.
Project Lead role on assigned Group IT projects, its management, stakeholder management & reporting.
Strong commitment to collaborative problem solving and creating quality solution to ensure good delivery with outstanding and sustainable results.
- Design, implement, operate and support on-premise and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Modification and improvement of existing IT infrastructure and IT systems.
- Develop and deploy security & protection measures for Servers & End-points.
- Regular Servers Patch management on global IT infrastructure, coordinating with Local IT for patch
updates on local Servers.
- Member of Security Incident & Response Team handling of security incidents, support & troubleshooting - Fault, change and problem management to ensure day-to-day operation of the IT infrastructure.
- Communication and tracking of technical problems with internal team & external partners.
- Working closely with our vendors, user group representatives, and Regional IT managers – from
requirements gathering, design, engineering, rollout and training 1st to 3rd level support.
- Working with international and diverse team, along-side with other engineers and solution architects on
different layers of the infrastructure.
- Create operational specifications and ensure that agreed infrastructure and application operational
requirements are met.
- Identification of business requirements and development of new system solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of 5+ years in the following areas:
- Windows-based systems, including hardware, virtualisation, software, and storage in client/ server
environment.
- Operation and maintenance of public key infrastructure (PKi) and its automation.
- Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Windows backend products (AD, DNS, DHCP, SCOM, SCCM)
- Automation of processes using suitable tools (scripting, power shell).
- Working experience with SQL or KQL.
- Broad experience in the field of Microsoft platforms (cloud, hybrid and on-prem)
- Overall good technical Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, network
(routing, switches, firewall), identity management and IT Security.

-Fluent English (Written & Spoken)
