Your new role
• Work in an Agile environment where teamwork is at its best, no exceptions
• Provide support in tuning applications and infrastructure
• Understand current infrastructure and release management processes
• Modify existing solutions to improve efficiency and increase automation
• Develop DevOps best practices for the development organization
• Design, develop, test, and implement new configurations, architectures, and standards
• Bring new ideas to the table and make an impact
• Work tightly together with product teams and customers
• Support, mentor and share knowledge with other team members
What you'll need to succeed
• T-shaped skill profile focused on backend development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science of the related field or equivalent work experience
• Linux skills (RHEL preferred)
• Experiences in running large Java Web Applications
• Solid understanding of typical DevOps procedures (CI/CD, Jenkins Pipelines, Ansible, Nexus, SonarQube, GIT)
• Apache Webserver
• Monitoring systems (e.g. Instana)
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2)
• Nice to have: SAP Hybris operations and support skills, German would be a plus
Personal competencies
• Technically enthusiastic and willing to learn attitude is required
• Ability to work unsupervised in a multi-task environment in a global team
• Self-motivated, initiative and passionate about your work
• Fun, positive attitude
