Our client is a professional FMCG organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
A well known organisation in the Retail/ FMCG/ Cosmetics industry with their inspiring HQ located in the beautiful centre of Amsterdam.
ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a position for a selfstarter, from where you can grow to the position of category manager.
We are searching for a passionate Buyer to strengthen the Sourcing team. As a Buyer you manage existing and establish new commercial relationships with suppliers, sourcing the right products and components at the right commercial conditions and terms to secure supply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Buyer you will ensure compliance with the sourcing principles and processes. You will actively contribute to build up and manage successful long-term partnerships with suppliers. Next to that you will analyze PR and NPR needs in cooperation with our internal organization. Also, you will be responsible for the preparation of business cases, request of quotations and negotiate the right commercial terms, manage the pricing and supplier contracts.
You are highly assertive, adaptive and an excellent multitasker. You are ready for your next step in your career and you enjoy working in a fast growing and international environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree, Higher Technical and/ or Commercial background
- At least 2 Years of relevant experience as a buyer (a pre would be the beauty and cosmetics industry or MKB environment)
- Excellent communication, commercial & negotiation skills, ability to build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch. Any other languages is a preference
- You are experienced in project- and process management, a self starter, you have a nose for the deal, you are accurate and independent
