Role Description

In this role as Production Planner you will be part of the planning and control team in the supply chain department of the organisation. You will be responsible for the determination of middle-and long term production planning and the contribution towards the development of planning strategy/policy.

Responsibilities

In this role as Production Planner your responsibilities will include:

- Inventory management of raw materials, capacity needs, stock levels, orders and forecasts
- Preparation of fill and allocation proposal of end products
- Determination of production planning on the basis of budgets and forecasting
- Monitoring the realization of planning and optimization of the realization of this planning
- Providing direction and advise for the production process through production planning
- Signalizing and analyzing internal and external development and propose improvement proposals
- Consult with the production schedulers and supply chain planners for the execution of the production planning and process

Requirements

- Bachelor in logistics/supply Chain or similar
- Experience in the area of supply chain planning
- Knowledge of and experience with methods for planning, planning tools and ERP systems (SAP)
- Experience with S&OP, forecasting, capacity planning, order methods and stock strategies
- Independent and hands-on mentality
- Pro-active and eager to learn
- Ability to combine long-term planning with ad hoc work
