THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
They are a well know B2B and B2C producer within the Food and FMCG industry. With several production plants and well known brands they are steadily growing which requires new employee's with the right knowledge.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain planner you will be planning various aspects of one of the products. This requires you to communicate a lot with the sales departments regarding their forecasts. This position is within a team of several other planners who report to the overall Supply Planning Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the production planning of several production sites. This can sometimes be a very complex system because all the different stakeholders in this process. Using the available planning software you are able to make the best possible production plan. You will be working in a team of almost 10 planners with whom you plan the proces from production to warehousing. Also you will be responsible for:
- Optimising your planning
- Realising correct product inventory in the warehouse
- Continuously improving the production processes
- Solving possible issues between supply & demand
REQUIREMENTS
For this role you need to have:
- A BSc or MSc degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations or similar
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role with a max of 6 years
- The ability to work efficiently with SAP APO and Excel
- Fluent in both English and Dutch, written and verbal
- An interest in continues improvement and strong analytical skills
