Supply Chain Planner
Location: Antwerp, BelgiumMy client is active in the Food industry in Antwerp
Do you? Have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Management, Finance or equivalent
Do you? Have at least three years in a planning position within the FMCG, Food or Retail industry
Are you? Fluent in English, verbally and written

About the role
The Supply Chain Planner is collaborating with a team of colleagues to ensure the availability of products to clients located throughout Europe.
Responsibilities
• Ensure actual demand is proactively managed in line with customer plans and promotion plans
• Work with the demand planning to ensure process and rules are established for the optimal demand prioritization for the EU markets/customers
• Review the status of expected orders daily/weekly, prioritize demand between markets/customers when supply is insufficient
• Provide input to the supply team to manage fluctuations in volume and timing of demand
• Work closely with the Supply team for product availability in the short-term horizon
• Lead stock allocation to customer orders and liaise with Customer Support and Supply Planning to maximize customer service
• Assesses demand/supply variations and adapt the short term planned demand given actual demand numbers.
• Ensure demand execution is fully integrated with the demand planning and provide feedback to the demand plan/sales teams about important demand signals
• Lead weekly review meetings with Customer Support, Demand planning and Supply to review short term demand
• Act as key user in ERP project for demand control capabilities/ predictive and demand analysis and available to promise process
Requirements
• Ideally prior 3 years’ experience in Planning function within FMCG, Food Production or Retail (Supply Planning, Demand Planning or Control, Revenue Management)
• Analytical skills: capability to work with large datasets to create baseline/statistical forecasts
• Proven knowledge of planning methodologies
• Demonstrated Planning & Prioritization capabilities
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP) and planning software is preferred
• Be Assertive and Pragmatic
• Proven experience managing many stakeholders
• Customer Oriented
• Good Business Acumen
• Excellent in oral and written English
• Excellent presentation- and interpersonal skills
