THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
The organisation is focused on the improvement of supply chain to enhance the development of business within the organisation.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role as Supply Chain Manager you will translate the commercial needs of the business units into concrete supply chain solutions to add value towards the business of this organisation. In addition, you will be responsible for the performance of all supply chain related activities for the business units and distribution center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role as Supply Chain Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the department of order management (planning, inventory management and procurement) and the product implementation team
- Leading the supply chain related activities in the business units (procurement and distribution) and ensuring the development of these teams
- Responsible for the service levels of all the customers
- Managing the distribution budget and maintaining the relations with all the transporters
- Coordinating business and transformation projects
- Taking part in the European supply chain team
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree in the area of logistics or business administration
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a supply chain manager or experience in a logistic consultancy position
- Strong supply chain knowledge and business sense
- Ability to interpret quantitative analyses
- Hands on mind-set and ability to perform on a strategic, tactical and operational level
- Fluent in Dutch and English
