Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the management of all the material, production and inventory planning processes. You will be leading a team of planners and responsible for optimizing inventory levels and ensuring an accurate and steady supply of ingredients. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced manager with strong knowledge of logistical processes and a specialisation in planning. Furthermore, you will aim to improve business processes and set-up strategical partnerships with external suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cross-functional projects with procurement, logistics and supply chain.
- Improve the accuracy of supply planning for several internationally dispersed business units.
- Improvement of logistical processes, development of KPIs and reporting.
- Development and improvement of strategical partnerships.
- Improve the performance of external 3PL partners.
- Strategy development for international business units.
- Drive performance, develop training and team-building.
- Budget control.
- Follow up on customer complaints.
- Management of a small team of material, inventory and production planners
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar
- Strong knowledge of material, inventory and production planning
- Previous experience with batch production
- Management experience
- Previous experience with SAP is a strong plus
- Project and Change management experience
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Previous experience in lean projects is a strong plus
