THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
They are proud producers of animal nutrition and fish feed products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for Performance Excellence on global level, which includes continuous improvement on the entire supply chain. You will be examining the current supply chain and initiate new initiatives to improve the overall effiency of the processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for analyzing and improving the logistical processes within the supply chain. It will be your job to make the client’s supply chain as efficient as possible. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Assessment on global level as part of the Operational Excellence team
-Formulating KPI’s and other assessment methods and the development of these methods
-Initiating and making sure standards are in place
-Collaborate with senior level analysts and managers to persuade stakeholders to implement the Performance Excellence program
-Represent your portfolio in the Global Demand S&OP Meetings
-Drive improvements and being active on decision making level
REQUIREMENTS
-BSc or MSc or in Logistics, Business or any other related field required
-At least 8 years of working experience within a logistics or supply chain role, extensive knowledge of SAP is preferred
-Experience in leading a team in a professional setting and being flexible
-APICS or other relevant qualification is a pre
