Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
They are aiming to become a globally trusted producer of delicious foods.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for making the Supply Chain more efficient and more effective. You will be driving Performance Excellence programs throughout the Supply Chain on global level and focus on training of the employees to implement the Performance Excellence program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the implementation of the earlier mentioned Performance Excellence program. You will also be travelling to all the different sites and perform analysis over there to assess the performance and initiate plans and programs to improve the efficiency at those sites. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Collaborating with the Plant Manager based on the results of previous mentioned analysis and deciding what steps and measures to take next.
-Persuade and convince stakeholders on Director level and Manager level to adhere and support the Performance Excellence programs
-Reduce variables to reduce cost within the entire Supply Chain
-Initiating the Performance Excellence program
-Operating in a matrix organization dealing with the market related sales and cost driven supply chain
REQUIREMENTS
· BSc or MSc in Logistics, Business or any other related field required
· 5 years working experience within the Supply Chain and extensive knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
· Experience in leading a team in a professional setting within the Food industry
· Effective communication skills in Dutch and English, can work with people in different teams,levels and functions. Ability to influence results through others and external organizations.
